For those who have gotten post 30 - have you ran any dungeons with a scholar ? That's initial job I'm shooting for and wondered how their healing seemed.

Yes, I didn't notice a difference. I think you need to wait until end game raiding to really know whos best tank/healer/dps/etc. Whats really interesting is that, if this game has legs and someone has all classes at max. Will you see entire guild rosters changing their healing/tank/dps job lineup to FotM and for each encounter?
One of the players in my dedicated group is an Arcanist, focusing on Summoner but we ran a Haukke Manor with him as Scholar just to test it out. The pet does a majority (80-90%) of the healing and you only have to spot heal every now and then in high pressure situations.
The Bloodlust buff is fucking awesome (50% uptime roughly) but you're still dealing with pet AI unless you want to manually micromanage the pet which can be frustrating as you can't give it controls while casting anything. I'm a bit worried about how the Fairy will keep up if the difficulty continues to increase as it has in the 30s. This is all second hand info so YMMV.

Do what? I've been able to log in just fine when I get #2 (1017 error). I don't know that you really need to restart the client at all.

Ditto, I let my keyboard mash 0 for 20 minutes last night and it eventually kicked into the queu and got in.
Before I went to bed last night I did the titan story quest and the few after it, and not gonna spoil anything, but those of you skipping through all the cut scenes, take the few minutes to watch this one.

Funny thing about dungeons, starting 30 they're all fairly challenging with cool mechanics and some instant kill don't fail type mechanics and shit. And then you get to 44 and the dungeon is a snoozefest, it's like Halatali/Haukke level(not quite the first 3). Pretty derp. Garuda on the other hand, which is the same level, is a fucking rapefest. If everyone is on the ball and know the fight it's not that hard, but the multiple phases and instant kill mechanics make for some interesting wipe sessions. Since you respawn instantly though it's not so bad, you can just retry until you get it right(or until someone's gear is broken).
The storyquest is also pretty nice, when it's not bear ass quests filler shit. I wish they had cut all that crap and put it in sidequests instead and only kept the relevant story quests. At 46, you also have like 30mins of cutscenes, for people who like that ^^. Bunch of them voiced too unlike the rest. Now I just need to get my ass to 50 to finish this stuff.

So for those that added an additional service account with their game codes. That will let you merge the two, ONE time only within the next 14 days. Doesnt help my situation exactly since I havent added a code. But if worse comes to worse I guess I can just add a service account and ask for the merge.

Leveling is not that hard. Extreme poopsockers hit 50 yesterday, normal poopsockers will hit 50 today, and normal hardcore players will all be 50 before Sunday.

To each their own I guess. Im only 17 Glad and 12 Marauder at this point as I dont poopsock. But Im a bit more harcore than the average casual. anyway here is some macro shit I found on the official forum for those which need a beginners guide.
Oh and Ive been reading that we are down to 3 NA/EU servers which you can make characters on now.
I got to 40 playing some of Sat and Sun, and all of Mon doing story quests + side quests + class/job quests + every FATE that was near me + 1time bonus guildhests + 1time bonus of all dungeons.
If all you want to do is level as fast as possible on your first class I would make a FATE party. Its boring a shit though.

The pet isn't that strong - it's mainly good for mitigating/healing damage done to your DPS group members. It definitely can't near keep up heals on the tank during bosses or large pulls, and that's just from experience in Haukke Manor.
