They should have replaced the GCD clock animation with an ATB meter like in the old console Final Fantasy games. When I though of the long GCD in that way, it felt much more Final Fantasy-y. I just wish there was actually a decision to be made during that 2.5 second window.

I figured they couldn't get rid of gold spam bots, so I set up a shiatty keyboard macro to farm sheep overnight. Using just my G19 keyboard I woke up to 500 baskets of fleece and don't feel guilty in the slightest.

Anyone know how long it takes rest to cap? need to know when to take a break from gta5 to grind out some mining.
BTW for you Gilg folks, how's the population looking on the crowded early servers ? I made a character Thursday evening on one of the three brand new servers , stayed playing on it through the weekend as got in a friendly linkshell , and it was a ghost town ( a fun one though ) because is was only a few folks starting over there.
Once digital sales opened up yesterday it exploded , newbie areas packed to hell and back, from one day of digital sales with all new players.

Black Mages are probably the most in demand DPS right now. Especially since half the server ended up rolling a bard alt. Probably more interest for groups at the high end as BLM as well (when compared to the healing classes).

Note the time remaining. The tank never had aggro. Hell he wasn't even using Sword Oath until I said something. I waited and waited - even the SCH's fairy was tanking it. So I kited the boss because we didn't have time for another attempt and I knew they were going to die anyway like every other attempt. The healer died at 70 or 80%, the tank and melee dps sort of just walked around the room uselessly, too afraid to approach because none of them figured out the blue/violet thing and eventually they died off to the violet aoe even though all they had to do was watch for me to run in.
Oddly this was by far the most simplistic fight of the zone. But we only had about 25 minutes to work on it from all the boss and trash wipes.
And I thought Rift pugs were bad.

Yeah, first time I pugged that boss the 2 dps could NOT understand get close and back away and kept screwing up. Next time I was there we had a dps drop right as we got to the boss so we did it with 3 competent (pug) players. Was fucking trivial, I think the lowest anyone got was like 85%.

I had a healer that could not get behind the fucking first boss of Stone Vigil. We wiped like 4-5 times, I forget. We kept on telling him just fucking stay behind the boss! Dead...Next turn, do you get it? Stay behind the boss...Dead.. Over and over it was brutal. Its like trivial spank and tank with a bit of movement like 3 times through the fight. I was about to leave when he finally left, probably in shame. He was replaced by another healer and we oneshot the rest of the dungeon.

I really do feel like half the challenge in most mmos is how terrible the playerbase is. I've seen so many awful players in DF that it blows my mind they manage to get past the story dungeons at all.
