I thought about letting it assign me as ISIS GM, but I figured: "Why should I bother with an empty title?" and caved in to pressure from someone about "AHMG JOIN MY FC".

Amusingly enough, the first person who logged in other than me was miffed that it chose me, because he wanted to empty the guild bank. =D

I don't really blame him. I think I'll go buy ISIS a house for the hell of it if no one cares anymore.

I could be wrong as I haven't even been playing, hell I just rerolled yesterday but I'm pretty sure this is one of the few games MMORPG that isn't dying and bleeding players. If anything I believe they're getting a steady gain now that the 1-3 month people have moved on to their next planet.

You either like the treadmill and have time for grinds every new patch or you realized that progression is still reset based and you should have quit for 3 months (or all together 3 months ago).

Beautiful world that they never utilized properly.

The world is empty and this game is completely instanced or grind. Or both. Better to play with noobs than grinding end game because its incredibly boring.

It was definitely a fun game when it came out and worth the sixty bucks.

Now however? Don't do it, wait for Wildstar.

This game really turned into a grind if you want to have the best weapon. I see they are adding more to the Zodiac questline which is part of that insane grind. Otherwise its just tightly tuned, you can beat almost all of the new content in BC 1-5 gear.

Ya i left game until 2.3 and just plan to do storyline stuff. The dailies and grinding stuff isn't that fun and really time consuming.

I ended up quitting due to playing non MMO stuff nowadays, but holy shit. I can't believe they had the balls to add in 100 more hours of grinding to bring your weapon from 100 to 110 + huge materia costs. I mean just to throw it out here..

In 2.0 it took about 6-10 hours (depending on group competency) to do your full relic questline. Arguably less if you were good and knew what you were doing. The weapon it gave you was the absolute best you could get before Allagan, and only 5 ilvls behind.

In 2.2 if you average out everything, it's probably in the 100 hour range to go from 90 to 100, and the reward was a weapon 15 ilvls lower than High Allagan.

In 2.28 if you average out everything and want the weapon in a reasonable timeframe (ie: 2 weeks) the time investment is again in the 100 hour range and the reward is a weapon 5 ilvls lower than High Allagan.

Even going off the longest estimate for 2.0 relics, they've effectively made you spend 20x the time in order to get a weapon of the same relative power in recent patches. That's way over the top and entirely unnecessary.

Don't forget that at least 100 hours of those 200 are spent doing level 20 shit because, you know, content is hard.

Rogue and Ninja jobs revealed at E3. Once I am done with Wildstar I will probably come back to level a Ninja along with trying all the new changes. Maybe Gold Saucer will be out by then too.
