Think June 23rd. Not sure if the console or PC differ from that date. When is this slated to come out?
Full access/official launch day is June 23rd, all platforms (including Mac version). That said:Think June 23rd. Not sure if the console or PC differ from that date.
I've never played a MMO on a console (including D3), how does this play on PS4? I really wanted the Console Collector's edition for the statue and the goodies but wasn't sure how this work. Do you have to buy the original game and install and then purchase the expansion or just kick the expansion disc in as a new player (well I have existing characters on PC). I guess I need to investigate this further but bottom line, the console CE is very nice.
You'd need to register the console version of the base game as well as the expansion. Licenses do not transfer between console and PC, which is a shame because they did with FFXI.Think June 23rd. Not sure if the console or PC differ from that date.

Ah man... that kinda stinks. Does everyone prefer the PC version? Most things that I have read says the PS4 version was good and probably one of the best MMO's to console yet but nothing that would make be change from PC.You'd need to register the console version of the base game as well as the expansion. There isn't really a clear difference, both play on the same servers and shit. You can play with a pad on PC and you can use a keyboard on PS4(you definitely want to). You can use some app for teamspeak/mumble on your phone too, so mostly the main difference, assuming you do have a phone or a laptop you can run voice off is the lack of DPS meter for PS4. Oh and the PC runs kinda better, especially if you don't have a SSD on your PS4 but do on your PC, but if you have an older PC it'd run worse I guess.Ah man... that kinda stinks. Plays differently but fairly easy. I play on the PS4 and on my PC since I have both linked and it's only one sub. I am very casual though. The only thing I found frustrating with the PS4 version is targeting. I lock on to a target accidentally and then move to kill something else, and even after I unlock, it fires back to the same previously locked target. That gets really infuriating. But other than that, it's great when you are going through traditional combat/gameplay while on a recliner and big screen. I hardly ever talk with anyone in the game so that doesn't even matter.I've never played a MMO on a console (including D3), how does this play on PS4?
