fwiw I know absolutely nothing about this game and last touched my square enix account in 2010 to try the original beta (2 hours then deleted game), and I was able to get in today. So if you originally tried the ff14 beta 3 years ago you can probably play today, except the login servers are shitty and constantly DCing me. Nice design square, can't connect to lobby server so close the client...

i'm in on marlboro as aeryn sun, you guys on gilgamesh are gonna be so fucked as 15k+ redditors start playing tomorrow

Should be noted, that I am an Arcanist (going for summoner) and there are indeed a LOT of them.

Zones might be worse in some areas than others.

EDIT: well .... damn.

Are you all going Marlboro or Gilg? I am only level 9, so no biggie swapping servers atm.

I will setup a different channel in Mumble for the Marlboro server. We can sort this mess out when live hits. A server transfer will be available in 2-3 weeks, but i am unsure if they will allow moving to the populated servers.

I'm on Gilg playing but I think it's a terribad choice. more than happy to play on a different server.
