Yeah I mean if someone truly wants to tank and you don't want to, that's fine. But you played like a guy that's been doing it for years. Considering it was the first time both you or I tanked the place and we're just going off quick instructions I think we did alright.
Also I've always done master loot on raids. I find we get more gear that we can pass around to offspec folks and shit. Usually I just have people who need it roll. If someone thinks there's a better way for us to handle loot just post it here or pm me. Also I'll make someone else ML next week so I'm not staying behind while you guys pull.

I was always fine with doing master looter stuff if needed.
Just need more people to help keep track of the drops and speak up if someone keeps winning multiple rolls to help spread the wealth around. From what I remember folks were pretty cool about sharing usually.

Since it's casual anyway, has personal loot been considered? Seems like other than people getting upset over another's luck, it's the same as someone losing a roll to them.
The only major problem I see is people winning something they don't need that someone else might, etc.

Are they making changes to how the system distributes loot?
I have been too busy to log into alpha to check on things like this. Plus with how incomplete some features are I'm somewhat hesitant to both the until it jumps to beta or more builds are pushed.

The change people are excited for is that apparently duplicate personal loot will be able to be traded to people within the raid. So you get an upgrade, it's bound to your character. You get something you already have, you can pass it on to someone else. Good change I think as the biggest reason we wouldn't want to use personal now is the raid would want your lockout to count toward loot for other people, since obviously you don't need anything out of normal.
I don't think we'll run into too much frustration though.

We found people getting gear they didn't need while others weren't. For us ML made more sense than personal, especially with such an array of people showing up - for instance, on personal maybe you'd get a piece of gear and some other hunter didn't (that needed it). Obviously you don't need it with your 150k DPS, but he does. It's just more gear to pass around I found.

We're "playing" in WOD right now (I log in to earn money on my alts, but others are actively doing stuff). I don't know that the people playing in the guild are in alpha.

We are doing some casual friday night raids right now in HFC normal - probably move onto heroic if people think it's a good thing.

I just used my 90 upgrade to create a Shaman last week, so I'm going through the WOD content slowly. If other people are in that level range and want to group up, feel free to hit up Yajd. I haven't played in forever, so I probably suck, but I'll be around most nights.
