If I trade someone for a draft pick....do I get that player in the slot of the draft pick and still get to do 3 keepers?

So for keepers I pick;

Then I trade someone my 10th round pick for ABC

do I get
x
xy
xyz

and then my 10th pick is just automatically ABC? or so I have to swap one of my keepers out for him?

You will not get to keep that player. If you were able to do that you could have a team of keepers instead of three, which would invalidate the point of having only three keepers.

I had no QB, literally. While I didn't want to fork over my first pick I knew I didn't have much of a choice.

This year is a rebuilding year after being rock bottom last year so I'm not worried about it. If I can finish 10th or higher I'll be happy.

Yeah with the Bradford thing, I thought that wasn't allowed. My understanding is that whatever you ended the season with was the team/assets you had until the draft or trades you make with players on your roster or with deft picks.

Yeah kind of a bad generalization. I'd give up a 4th for Matt Ryan easily if I didn't have a third keeper. Lamar Miller? Well... yeah

Well I'm pretty annoyed, imo that's bullshit a FA pickup after the season was kept. Pretty much changes everything from here on out for for the league and not in a good way.
