Also, be gentle to me today foldger. I got some news yesterday that's 30X worse than anything the kung flu will do. My second favorite BBQ joint has closed down. I went for lunch yesterday and they had a crew in there renovating it. I poked my head in to ask if it was just renovations and they said it had been sold.

Brother you need to buy yourself a smoker and make your own. I used to do it all the time. Nothing more glorious than waking up on a Saturday, throwing ribs on the smoker and 10 hours later stuffing your face in your glorious creation.

Would really like to pick smoking back up again soon.

I empathize with you bro but do you even live in a state with real barbecue like Tejas, Memphis or Florida?

First of all yes.

Second of all why the fuck is Memphis in that list? Not only is it not a state but those faggots boil their meat and call it BBQ. Did you mean Missouri? I don't know anything about florida BBQ. The thought brings to mind images of meth labs.

My brother my brother my brother. YOU HAVE NOT LIVED till you've had genuine Florida BBQ. Little known fact - southern barbeque actually originated in FLORIDA. It was only other states like Tejas, North Carolina and Memphis adopted it, changed it and claimed it to be their own.

I think we need to have an annual FoH BBQ cook-off to settle this. Doesn't bandwagon or someone own some land? Well host it on their land, a weekend of bbq, shooting, drinking and camping.

Where? My favorite place in Austin is closed now, it was called Dusty's. My next favorite place was county line on the hill out in Bee Caves. Lotta people talked about Black's in Lockhart and a couple in Elgin that I think were all terrible. Oh and the salt lick. That one was pretty good, but the only reason anyone knows about it is because the owner is a fucking hothead and lifetime bans people from his restaurant at the drop of a hat. They used to say you aint nobody in austin till you've been banned from the salt lick.

iannis iannis I'm getting a cat today or tomorrow. Hes one year old. Apparently he's been at the shelter for a year since he was a kitten. No one's wanted to adopt him because he's all black. I said that's racist and immediately applied to adopt.

Suggestions on kitty litter? Unfortunately I don't have a great place to put the box so it'll go in the bathroom..

It's that one that I think is kinda famous I think and iirc it's on a vineyard or something? You walk in and there's like this round grill with amazing meats on it and hanging from above.
