I drive an 11 year old diesel truck. Granted I've taken amazing care of it and it doesn't look 11 years old. Also aftermarket wheels, tires and suspension upgrades for dat black on black. No plans on buying a new car ever. This baby only had 105k miles on it and looks-wise has aged well.

Zapatta can attest for diesel. Don't you have one?

Who was it here that was gonna do a diesel excursion build?

I do not. Everyone tells me I'm supposed to, but if you give them shit to scratch they take care of it themselves, for the most part. And except for Fabio when he decides to literally jump at his own shadow when he's sitting on me, they don't scratch me anymore. When I first got him he was scared as fuck, and he scratched the shit out of me, but I guarantee I would have gotten shredded worse if I tried to cut his nails back then anyway.

It probably isn't a bad thing to get a cat used to early on, same with baths, but I've never done either to my cats. If I had a new kitten I might start off getting them used to those things, but I've always gotten ones that are a year or more old from the pound, and if they weren't raised with it they freak the fuck out. Some hippie faggots give me dirty looks when I say that I don't do any of that, but they probably dress their animals too, so fuck them. The most I do is brush them, and honestly that's mostly because they love it more than trying to limit cat hair. I know that I unknowingly consume cat hair all the time whether I brush them or not, so fuck it.

The scratching will ease up or even stop as he gets older. Particularly if you let him know that scratching you isn't cool.

Yeah, he's just playing. It's not intentional. He loves to be brushed. Just made him an apt to get groomed next week. Was either nail clip or claw caps. Gonna see if you can stand claw caps.

I tried claw caps on Amira for a month or so after I got her. She pulled them off within a day or two every time. And putting them on takes at least as much effort as clipping them yourself, so if you're gonna go that route, just get him used to clipping instead.

Also, I'm pretty sure that if someone sees that a dude's cat has claw caps, they immediately assume that dude is gay.

Nah. Honestly at the time I would have stick with a sedan. However, had a 16,000 lbs boat I had to tow and a 1500 series truck or non-diesel would have gotten it's shit pushed in doing so. Was honestly hoping to get by with a 1500. In the end I'm pretty used to it now. Sold the boat a few years ago but I don't feel the need to buy anything new.

Clear is probably your least gay choice. However, call me gay all you want, I think black with fluorescent pink/magenta highlights is pretty cool looking. I had a squad of space marines in 40K painted that way, and they were baller. And a tiny bit gay, but I'm secure in my masculinity.
