That was a stressful/awkward race to watch, if it weren't for Max's bitching and the McClaren drama that might have been as boring as Monaco. Expected to see more issues after some of those qualifying incidents.

Announcers earned their money today. Relatively uneventful race all about management and race strategies.

Feel like this GP could have been another 10-15 laps and it'd have maybe been a bit more interesting, but maybe I'm not appreciating what the winner accomplished as a relatively newer fan.

They touched wheels because both of them had their heads up their asses. Standard racing incident.

Watched a vid on how mercedes got their aero so wrong starting in 22. The guess is that the rolling road they used in the wind tunnel was too smooth so the boundary layer attached differently to the real-world tracks.

If I understood correctly, it takes time to change the belt the scale model runs on and they didn't want to spend time calibrating it so they just kept the same one that had worn smooth. This is a result of winning so much, they had much more restricted time in the wind tunnel.

Did you see F1A is making Max do community service for cursing over the radio of all things? Max has started answering questions away from the regular press conference now due to it as a protest. lol

There was a nasty crash in the motoGP sprint and it looks like it was all down to aero. The bikes are getting almost as bad as F1 cars.

I thought Marquez was done and wondered why Ducati gave him a ride but he proved me wrong this year. Dude is still a beast. Funny how his helmet film caused the spin out at the start and he still comes back from that.

All year the onboards showed him gaining in the left turns. Don't know how he does it.

This is dumb, China mad over a headband: Gresini Moto2 team to race ‘unbranded’ after Gonzalez incident

I'm watchin moto2 now. Joe Roberts is out with a broken bone of some sort, but I'm not sure if he crashed in practice or what?

Edit: The last lap. I love how these guys can bash into each other and then hifive after. No complaining or crying to the stewards either.
