Ohhh Boy this is truer than you know.
I worked for a top 10 USA Electrical Contractor , In my division there were 15 or so PM's. I was the only PM to come out of the field. One had retail experience, one worked on a dock in SD. All our assistants that we were expected to train were interns. Somehow we made it work but my favorite day was when the one with retail experience took me by the arm and walked me into her office to ask me if this thing on her drawing was a truss...............and it wasn't. If you go to Meow Wolf in LV, joke's on you: She was the PM.
