Pretty sure I've mentioned it before on these forums, but we did a month long exercise at Fort Knox back around 2005.
We had 2 LMTV's filled with MK19 ammo for just our company (maybe 100 people?). We shot the fuckers from dawn until after sunset. It was absolutely miserable. We'd be sitting in vehicles warming up and someone would come by and be like, "Okay, it's your turn to shoot."
All. Fucking. Day.
It's fun to shoot a grenade launcher once. By the 500th time, you just want to go do anything else. That said, on the way out, we found out that we had not only set that range on fire, but also the range to the left, the one to the right, and it also crossed the street behind us and caught two ranges over there on fire.
