Yes. Amazon AWS US-East-1 (N. Virginia) has had a complex set of outages. For my company, it's Workspaces and the AWS Console. They are blaming network equipment.

I doubt we'll hear about what happened anytime soon, but it looks as though its pretty severe across the board for the entirety of US East and anything that would redirect from the region. I would imagine that after they find a short term fix, theyre going to change quite a bit to get rid of whatever the weak point is/was.
