That dude isn't wrong. Fuck companies who try their predatory shit. When I was job hunting I didn't even apply if they didn't put a salary range. One company reached out to me for the same position I had only with a new company. I assumed it was good money since it was still construction sales in NYC. Went there for an all day interview. Was sitting on my hands for like an hour when I first got there. Did 6 hours of interviews with 10 different people (some in groups some solo). They didn't buy me lunch, just told me it was lunch time be back in an hour. Called me two days later, told me they loved me. Offered me half of what I was making. Like no shit you love me for that price. When I told them what I was making and asked if they wanted to change their offer they got offended. Be up front instead of wasting everyone's time.

Stopped at a poolside bar and got a drink while on a trip not too long ago. Drink was 16 bucks and the f'n required gratuity was 10. 26 bucks for a whiskey on the rocks and it wasnt even "fancy" fucking whiskey. I dont mind tipping, but the required gratuity shit is fucking aids.
