This comic is not comical at all and makes me feel sad.
Edit - And that non-comical comic reminded me of this movie which was better than I was expecting and actually pretty gut-wrenching in parts. It was basically On The Beach only the impending end of the world happened a lot quicker.

I wish it was just that simple as feeding them peanut butter. Whole family loves peanut butter, but the last kid got the allergy somehow, *despite* feeding them PB at a super early age. And some people develop it later in life, it sucks. I hate the helicopter parents that will not let their kid roll around in dirt, and vacuum the carpet every day w/ cleaners. Like, give the kids immune system a workout, that's how it gets stronger lol.
Something else that is a thing now, if you're bit by the wrong ticks or chuggers, CONGRATS, no more red meat for the rest of your life, you're now fully allergic! I could not imagine...

The fact is that your histimine system rotates every 7 years or so. Those tend to be the windows where you can gain or lose allergies. In my case until I was around 14-15 I had a mountain of allergies (as in two column typed page full of things I needed to avoid). When was around 14-15 that dropped to a handful. When I was around 24 I got tested again and it had dropped further to two notable ones left Bermuda grass, and tomatoes. It's very possible for you to pick up a nut allergy later in life, but for the majority of people they lose them as the grow older.
