How does someone have that much difficulty finding a stud? I can tap the GD wall and find a stud and a cross-stud. Much less all the tools to help you do it. That type of shit just makes me disappointed in people.
Took me 2 hours to install this 1866 Yellowboy on my basement's concrete wall. I can assure you it wont fall :')

i have this for studs
i used to use a magnet but thats not really precise cuz at that point youre just hoping the drywall guy is always hitting the screw on center
i recently just bought a flir too
i'm not saying i use all these for studs, i only use the yellow thing, i use the walabot to make sure i'm not drilling into a waterpipe or wires and i use the flir as just another double check
