Homemade Pastel de Nada. Oven doesn’t get hot enough to properly brown the top but they are still good.

Duh. Though it was really the custard that lacks char. Crust was good so maybe it could have burnt it too much? Have to try it next time.

I have a small torch for food only that I use to brown my custards. Just aim for the middle and don’t sweat if the edges are browned when you have one with a crust.
