Had one of these as a kid. Think I was 13 or 14 when I stripped a wire from a broken lamp and hooked it up to the battery leads to see how bright the bulb would get. Cord had a little dial switch. Soon as I clicked it - boom. Gave myself quite the shock.

I loved that as a kid. There is an interesting new toy kinda like it.

An 18th century Ottoman knife made of steel, silver, bone, horn, mother-of-pearl and enamel. The blade and handle are decorated with brass star inlays.

That's awesome, I wish I funded it as a kickstarter. Maybe it's better I didn't, I only fund duds like the glowing plant.
