IPAs have been my favorite for awhile, like you said, really enjoy the taste. I recently started trying sours and I dig them….I’m not a big drinker at all, typically only 1 or 2 cans with dinner ever few nights but I don’t think I could get drunk from sours before I got full. Also tried Gose, which I never saw in Germany and I love them.I'm not a beer snob in any way. I play hockey, which comes with mandatory Coors Light. But I genuinely enjoy the hoppy flavour of IPA beer. Nothing to do with anything but taste.
