Driving, Street Show, Show Car and Concours. Councours is all pristine OEM parts, museum quality when finished. You pay for that level of restoration you never drive the final product.
I bought some truck parts from an old ZZ Top looking fucker in CA I found on Craigslist, turns out he is one of the caretakers for the Petersen Museum. His personal property in the mountains outside of LA is one big junkyard of very sought after classics, peppered with a lot of super rare stuff.
In his spare time he does 1 full Concours resto every 2-3 yrs. Depending on the car the finished value is between $100K-150K. They end up in other auto museums. That's not a lot of money for the number of hours he has to put into finishing one. But it's what he does.
