Ignoring the quite real possibility that she's lying (either about her weight OR her athleticism), she might be one of those weird corner cases where BMI charts implode.
I know short guys who lift and move pianos and fire-safes all day, who BMI out to some form of "why aren't you dead yet"? Sure, sure, these guys will eventually tear up their backs or get crushed by missing their footing climbing up a flight of stairs at the bottom end of a baby grand, but it won't be "fat" that killed them.
Oh I have no doubt. There are lots of overweight athletes. INCREDIBLE ones at that... but this person claims to be "very fit" and morbidly obese. I guess that part doesn't make sense.Vince Willfork. Very good at what he does, very obese.

me before and after 235 172ish we do a yearly health assessment at my work. Even at the lower weight and 12% body fat , still my height and weight had me at borderline obese. The nurse was confused and told me it must not account for muscle. I just laughed and said, nope I am fat ass. So I believe his statement is possible. If you're 5'10" 220 and jacked that chart will still say your over weight and obese. That chart is faulty.
