I never owned an XBox. Was Gears of War pretty good or a lot of sequelitis?

Yeah excellent series with good writing and probably the best coop I've ever played.

Out of all the waist high cover shooters, I don't think anyone ever matched the coop gameplay of Gears. My roommate in college hated video games, but even he got sucked into it after I asked him to help me with one of the original missions. Ended up buying the rest of the franchise just for him.

It's my understanding that the Gears of Wars games are good and that it is likely that this one will be good too, but.... what's up with the atrocious 3D models and animations for the flash back segments of this trailer? These things are often outsourced, but still... wtf?

I thought it looked pretty fucking cool.

This, Uncharted, dark souls and fallout DLCs are my years go to.

one wave of beta codes went out for people who played GOW:remaster last year, more tomorrow. open beta will start next week I think and beta goes on till may 1st. If you hit level 20 before beta ends you will get character skin

Playing now, its only multiplayer obviously and only TDM and "dodgeball" are game options.

Anyone wanna play this? add me asleepdanzzz, also anyone got a good video/write up on wall bouncing? never played a gears series but used to watch my cousin whenever i was over, but i cant seem to find a good guide.

Hey since I am getting a free code for this because of my 1070 GTX purchase, does it still work both on Windows and Xbox 1 since it will be a digital copy?

yup the nvidia codes are cross play, i bought one for $20 and i have it pre-ordered on both now. nvidia may require proof of purchase since there was apparently a way to scam keys for a day or two so keep your receipts and serial numbers and shit they may require a scan of it

game is out tonight for streamers, friday for ultimate edition pre orders, next tue for regular people. My xbox GT is spronk if you wanna play, i'll probably mostly be playing mafia 3 on ps4 this weekend but will get in some gears 4 games next week

microsoft is streaming stuff about the game on xbox.com now
