Obviously the latter. But ultimately, the problem is consumers. If we didn't buy that shit they wouldn't make it. We're getting what we collectively ask for.

With the spectacular failures we’ve seen in the past couple years it’s obvious that going too woke is definitely a risk, and companies hate risk when there’s lots of money involved. I’m sure things won’t go back to the way they were, but the gaming industry is definitely undergoing what appears to be a positive shift.Yeah it’s pretty tough when they hook directly into human nature. For every one of us who is sick of this shit and changes their consumption behavior accordingly, there are 100 people not aware/capable enough to do so.
They're almost all asian games though, with a tiny handful of AAA exceptions like Cyberpunk (which was probably CDPR's last great game, as they were doomed the moment they opened offices outside Poland and have been fully taken over by activists now) and a few indies here and there.People overlook the fact that there has been quite a few really good games these past few years, and having that alternative is probably the main reason the mediocre and bad ones are getting hosed harder than they typically have been.
Its not even directly the consumer anymore. 20-30 years ago kids spent their allowance or got their parents to buy them a toy. Now what do you think their parents are buying? Fucking robux gift cards.Obviously the latter. But ultimately, the problem is consumers. If we didn't buy that shit they wouldn't make it. We're getting what we collectively ask for.

Lul, I got a code for this with my starforge PC. I probably won't even claim it let alone play it. Maybe they just wanted to balance against the other game code they gave me, Space Marine 2 which so far is awesome.Seems another SBI game is raking in the cash from the modern audience.
I've never even heard of it. Looks like some Assassins Creed rip off.

I don’t give one turd who makes my games. If the Chinese make fun games I’ll play them. They're almost all asian games though, with a tiny handful of AAA exceptions like Cyberpunk (which was probably CDPR's last great game, as they were doomed the moment they opened offices outside Poland and have been fully taken over by activists now) and a few indies here and there.
That wasn't really the point. The asian games that are still good--which is a dwindling number as companies like Capcom and Square-Enix have been infected by the woke virus and/or misled to believe that they actually need to cave into the demands of a tiny minority--are very different from western games. As much as I like SEGA/Atlus, From Soft, etc. I miss being able to enjoy the more western style of game too. Hell, there was actually a time when I would look forward to a new Ubisoft or Bioware or <insert Sony first party studio> release... but those days are long gone, and there's really nothing like those types of games coming out of Japan or Korea. Or even China.I don’t give one turd who makes my games. If the Chinese make fun games I’ll play them.
Godot. Seriously, use their woke game engine to make anti-woke games.I had a dream in which a game involved grinding pigs into dust, and spreading the dust across the west through airplanes, making the west haram for at least 1000 years.
Should I go with unity or unreal engine?
i don't think they actually released a game but had a bunch of Overwatch, Sony and Halo people, probably not enough strong black lesbian women (or too many)

They probably did realise that, but they have Concord style woke shit, so it's another 5 years from now and replacing all the staff. They didn't realize that making an AAA video game from scratch is a 5-year commitment, so they flushed half a billion dollars down the drain then pulled the plug in 2 years.
Dumber than Kingdoms of Amalur, somehow.
So.. whats the connection to the games that you see on the mobile Netflix platform? I remember seeing Hades and just thought it was some type of shared Marketing/Advertising, but surely one of those games had to be developed by Netflix too.
