Nobody heard of it until it failed... The trailers were competently done but never hit target audiences. That's marketing fail.Because it's marketing and he did a great job hyping a DOA product?
I mean, Corinne Busche, tranny dude developer for Dragon Age was hired at Wizards of the Coast Skull Key Studios recently. These big companies just dont fucking learn. Big companies would rather hire someone that does fucking terrible at their job, but "knows" the job... rather than give an opportunity to someone that actively wants to climb the ladder out of merit. I say companies, cause I've seen it happen in other industries too.Nobody heard of it until it failed... The trailers were competently done but never hit target audiences. That's marketing fail.
Because Lawbreakers didnt bring abso-fucking-lutely nothing new to the genre in fucking 2017. Nor did it have anywhere NEAR the budget that Concord had. If you thought this was some GOTCHA moment, then you're fucking retarded. The budget Concord had for marketing alone was massive. BUT ALL OF THIS IS BESIDES THE POINT. These people are failing UPWARD. Their alphabet bullshit puts the eye of sauron on them, sure. But no one gives a fuck about Kyle-in the tranny down in fucking coding. Nor does anyone here gaf about you role playing a girl on these forums.LawBreakers failed just as bad as Concord, despite having better gameplay, way more marketing, and great reviews.
But there was no discourse around that one...
Sometimes games just flop.
Wizards of the Coast has not made a successful computer game, outside Magic the Gathering (which was just a 1:1 transfer of the physical card game to digital format(?)). Last I saw on the RPG side, they were trying to make some interactive UI that paired with DnD 5.0 tabletop; which was orders of magnitude worse than what modders could already do with BG3. That was before Larian released the mod tools.I mean, Corinne Busche, tranny dude developer for Dragon Age was hired at Wizards of the Coast Skull Key Studios recently. I personally, regardless of sexual or gender identity - wouldnt hire these people just based on the drama that follows them around. Why anyone would want that shit in their office is beyond me.
Yeah… Growing up with all the big leaps in generational visuals… now its all just varying degrees of 99 percentile… there is the big jump to “real” and that is not happening yet, we are just like 95…96!!…98!….ohh yeah so.
I enjoy reading the technicalities of all this stuff… but ehh
