What? The state does NOT care if people are innocent or not. That is for a jury to decide. You don't want the state deciding who is innocent or not.

Incorrect, as the media and the law makers are now saying, if regular people don't do anything to stop crimes in progress (where police have no such requirement), say like a woman being raped on a train, then bystanders should be charged for not helping. Kyle wasn't a vigilante, he was patrolling to make sure no women were being raped on public transportation like good citizens should.
