Also a judge has to sign off on the charges before a trial is even started. Maybe Cad can correct me on this but the judge had to agree there was enough evidence to take to a trial.

No, dummy, you DO NOT want the state practically manufacturing evidence in a sham trial in an effort to convict someone in the face of overwhelming evidence to the contrary.

Imagine arguing that it's okay for the government to do anything they possibly can to ensure a conviction regardless of what the actual facts say. the fuck dude??
