I couldn't just take the rumor, so I just got done rewinding the VOD to confirm it for myself straight from the judge. And yep....
A minimum of 8 jurors voted to take the case as late as 5 PM. The judge stopped counting after 8, so it might be more.
Not good so many want to begin deliberations immediately regardless of fatigue. Judge said it could be as late as 5 PM and they all threw their hands up voting to get the case today.

But regardless of all of that, anyone chasing someone down in the streets instead of just waiting for cops to get them is, well, a fucking moron.
They're probably good people who just wanted their neighborhood to be safe from POSes like Arbery, but they handled it insanely badly.

Crowder has really proven himself to me lately. I've liked the guy since like 2017 or so just for being a generally principled guy with a good sense of humor, but he's always been further right than I am.
Now it doesn't matter whether I'm in full agreement or not, he's proven that he's on the side of actual justice, and he's really gone to bat for this kid lately as much as he possibly can. Huge respect to Crowder.

If I had found my kid walking in that shitshow with a rifle, I would beaten him over the head myself. Because 1) I never would have given permission to go to it, much less with a gun that is just going to draw attention to you. 2) Absolutely nothing good could come of a kid being down there in that situation.
That said, this is open and shit self-defense and every one of those morons that charged him deserved to die, not only for being pieces of shit their whole lives, but pursuant to natural selection. Years of entitlement and lack of accountability carried them to the natural conclusion. Granted, one got away, but may he serve as an example to the others (I doubt it).
