My experience working for a big deal law office as a data manager was that they spent a lot of time able to fuck off but then spurts of your life is your job 18hr days fuck everything else. I'm not remotely surprised a successful lawyer who can pick his own battles would be able to internet troll at his leisure.

I'm also a hyper skeptic so if someone offered me free legal help no strings I'd get dubious fast about what's really in it for them. Knowing what I know I would gladly take barnes, but, kyle and his handlers may not have known everything.

And he does make it very clear he was more than happy to do this all at no cost to Kyle and let everyone else take the credit.
Yeah, really easy thing to say, much different thing to do...

For all we know Barnes was shunned for being a total shitbag. Pretty easy to in retrospect say, "I totally would've done this all for free! I'm such a swell guy and altruistic, flying totally counter to the sleeze that most people expect of lawyers!!". I'm not saying Barnes doesn't know his shit, clearly he does. But, it's like a quarterback talking about how easily he could've/would've made X play, yet he sits in a commentary booth on Sundays.

I'm just finding it more and more difficult to trust a guy who spends about 99% more time on the fucking internet than he does in an actual courtroom. At this point, he's essentially become an "influencer".

I'm not saying Barnes is wrong, but this dude spends a TON of fuckin' time on the internet for a "practicing" attorney. Podcasts, social media, etc. I'm starting to get a few grifting vibes...

I used to know a guy with all the same mannerisms and that guy was a scammer shitbag that still scams people to this day. Combined with some feint similarities in appearance my brain keeps coding Barnes as "grifter." When I try and separate that gut reaction and weigh what he's saying he sounds like he knows what the fuck he's talking about but I also know that I have nowhere near the relevant expertise to make that determination.

If a big part of this trial is money management on Kyle's behalf than that is so very unfortunate.

It's hard to know. He seems like a guy who interviews well. I can see him looking like a rock star when meeting to discuss handling defense. He stops shining when faced with lies or giving longer speeches; you don't catch that sitting down at a law office.

Barnes also helped untold numbers of people with the religious exemptions for vaccination through providing document templates and an explanation of how your employer could overstep their bounds and a bunch of other things at a time when going against the official grain could have real consequences. In that regard he was doing God's work as far a I'm concerned. That he carries himself like he's packing a 10 inch cock is something I'm willing to get past.

Theyre probably debating which one they can say guilty on to sneak out, or they're bawling at the jerks who won't save their poor families and agree on a false guilty verdict. One extreme or the other, that's my guess. I'll be shocked if its like guilty on all but the first degrees or something.
Don't think they can do that. Pretty sure the defense did all or nothing.

At least that one BLM guy was trying to maintain some kind of order and calm down the violent future-felon.

I'm sure Antifa has a recruiting spot for the violent kid, since they're the ones setting all the fires and need mental cases like him.

Even though BLM the organization is corrupt as fuck, I'm sure there are plenty of BLM ground-level people who are decent people and have just been hoodwinked or are well-intentioned. It might come down to those people to keep the Antifa scum somewhat at bay. ...if that doesn't work, somebody a lot meaner is going to have to do it.

Edit: As far as "all goes according to plan"...I thought the plan was for the BLM side to take over and eliminate any pushback. Are you saying the pushback and the conflict is all part of the plan too? Cause I wouldn't be surprised if the goal here wasn't to have one side win, but to have the pendulum swing back and forth until it's smashing both sides.
He's saying they have plans for both scenarios.

My experience on jury duty affirmed that I hate most people. The jury completely ignored every instruction, completely disregarded common sense, and asked incredibly stupid questions like "What does reasonable doubt mean?" of the judge.

The one old mexican lady that was for acquittal for most of the deliberation that suddenly decided to convict only because "What if he had killed my kid?!" was in particular the most infuriating. Nobody died or was even remotely at risk of dying in any of the events of this trial, nor were there kids involved. Why the fuck are you bringing that up and basing your decision on just that? Everything out of her mouth was stupid. I probably didn't contribute much myself. I earn my full job's pay and get to keep the court pay on jury duty, so my plan was just to side with whichever group was losing until the rest had agreed on something. Sides fluctuated, but it never ended up me vs them, so it went out as a hung verdict.

Oh, no doubt he has done great work on that front.

I'm just leery of a guy who is spending so much time being a "celebrity".

According to Wikipedia he also helped (some of?) the Covington kids and is representing the dude filing a civil suit against Don Lemon for sexual assault. He's also the one got Wesley Snipes out of those federal felonies he was facing. He runs his own firm so he probably has ample free time, and he's obviously invested in the culture war.

4chan has gone rampant anti-Barnes. But to me its pretty laughable, name a single lawyer that isnt a piece of shit. I know a few lawyers I like on a personal level but professionally they are all tyrannosaurus douches. Goes with the territory. Youd be a fool not to hire someone willing to push their own grandma down a flight of stairs if it means they would win your case. courts are a blood sport.
