Wasn't someone saying she was only slightly fire resistant?
i mentioned that targs are fire resistant because of thousands of years valerians living in a volcano land they have built up a tolerance to flames/heat, but they are NOT fire proof. the funeral pyre in season 1 was supposed to be a one off event, but the show runners have decided that dany is now some kind of meta human. i'm not complaining, mind you, i like how that ended, just that they are making up their own canon. at least we got the Pink Letter with jon and RIP poor Osha. i missed that homely face.

those were some good titties, this show got awfully stingy with them the last few years.

I wonder if Dany's seizing control of the Dothraki is the first legit spoiler from Winds of Winter?
I'm sure it happens slower in the books, because Dany chapters are always slow, but if you didn't know that was coming in the books then I don't know what series you've been reading. The only way she can be the true Khaleesi is to unite all of the Dothraki, and what better way to do that than to kill all the Khals and emerge unburnt.

I'm not sure Dany makes it to the end, though. The problem with being a character on Game of Thrones is that once your story arc comes full-circle, you generally die.

Unless he's genuinely planning to kill EVERYONE, Dany is the one I'd say has the highest chances of surviving. Despite Jon already having died once, he's getting all heroic and noble which dramatically shortens your life expectancy in Westeros.

*edit*

Also, isn't Drogo's pyre straight out of the books? Burning in a funeral pyre all night long is not 'slightly fire resistant'. Being immune to fire is fine, as long as she doesn't start flying or breathing fire herself, or strap wildfire flamethrowers on her shoulders, I don't care.

Why is everyone assuming Jon left Castle Black? He just walked out with no horse or supplies by himself? My bet is he will hang for a bit consulting with Davos until Sansa shows up. Bastard letter will arrive and then Jon will head to Winterfell.
Shameless brag...

Should be a bit different in the books. In the books she lands in front of Khal Jhaqo's khalasar, and the last thing she ever said about Jhaqo wasn't exactly how she wanted to be BFFs with him.

It was a cruel fate, yet not so cruel as Mago's will be. I promise you that, by the old gods and the new, by the lamb god and the horse god and every god that lives. I swear by the Mother of Mountains and the Womb of the World. Before I am done with them, Mago and Ko Jhaqo will plead for the mercy they showed Eroeh

That letter is going to be useful in marshalling the Northern houses against Ramsay. Without that it would just be Jon's word that Rickon still lives but that's a full admission of it on Ramsay's part.

The author implied it was a one time thing. Do with that as you will. Not that it matters in the context of the show.

Right, I get that, dragon eggs, burning together with your dead husband and the witch who cursed you both, etc. Just saying, being fully fire immune isn't a big deal.
