Can't argue with factsWell Robb and his wife's marriage lasted for the rest of their life, so that's a success, right?
Out of curiosity, what would you like to happen with the Wall? It will be breached/get taken down certainly. I suppose they could just storm the gate like the wildling army did and go through Castle Black's gate. But my money is on it getting shattered.I don't like all this horn talk. I never read the books so if something like that just happens and takes down the wall I'm gonna be salty.
I can't remember if Sam found a horn with the dragonglass in the show, but I am assuming he did. He will utilize it as a rape whistle when his father and brother catch up to him and sodomize him with their stolen the family sword. The only way this can happen is by "magic."
For the show run they can blame Bran's mark. It'll probably happen quite differently in the books, though. That would actually be hilarious. Having the Night King just stomp on the ground and break the Wall would be more dramatic. But if he was always capable of doing that... then what was the Wall built to do?
They can explain it away. They can say the 3 Eyed Raven's magic protected the wall. Now that the 3 Eyed Raven is dead and the new one doesn't have the power to maintain the spell the NK can crumble the wall. So I guess it isn't really the "mark" exactly but the death of the 3 Eyed Raven which is the catalyst for the invasion.I still think the Bran mark is going to be lame if they go that route.
You don't get to be salty in this thread. Discussing book plot vs show plot has been this thread since day one.I don't like all this horn talk. I never read the books so if something like that just happens and takes down the wall I'm gonna be salty.
I think you misunderstood. I'm going to be salty because it will just come out of nowhere with no explanation. Not because someone here said something and ruined it for me.You don't get to be salty in this thread. Discussing book plot vs show plot has been this thread since day one.
Gotcha. I agree, it'd be out of left field since it's only been shown in one scene that I can recall. The idea that the Three Eyed Raven kept the wall's magic in place is solid but then what was the point of dragging Bran's ass up North to just fuck it all up?I think you misunderstood. I'm going to be salty because it will just come out of nowhere with no explanation. Not because someone here said something and ruined it for me.
If the 3-eyed raven's magic protected the wall, why did they need a fucking wall in the first place? It could be an arbitrary line in the snow like how the cave was protected prior to Bran's mark. Why build a 700 foot tall goddamn ice monster wall if the magic is really whats preventing the Others from coming? They can explain it away. They can say the 3 Eyed Raven's magic protected the wall.
