The jaunty song that began right after when the credits started rolling made me laugh.

That's what it's looking like to me. In the preview of the next episode she's holding some scepter thing and says "Is it done then?" I'm guessing she's talking about the change of command and she's about to fuck them up :p

someone on here said it's better to wait and watch this kind of show all together, over a weekend or such. i think i agree, cos fuck am i pissed that i have to wait another week.

Also not sure where they're going w/ the Theon stuff... but I happened to like the Pod/Tyrion/Bronn stuff. My only complaint this week, again, is time. 52 minutes isn't enough to flesh out a show this broad, and 3 seasons of the current format isn't enough to capture how brilliant this book (SoS) was.

If you read the books, how can you not know where they're going with the Theon stuff? It is showing everything that happened during the lapse in his POV. He recalls it in ADWD, since flashbacks don't fit the shows narrative style they are showing it.
