ok, I had a dream last night. I was getting it on with Emilia and the moment of climax I looked into her eyes and said, with a calmest voice, Dracarys. She proceeded to punch me in the stomach so hard that I woke up. It took me a moment to realize that the reason my stomach hurt in real life was that I really needed to take a dump. Was that weird?

I'm not sure if it's been covered in this thread in the past ( yeah guy's I'll give it a quick read back over to see if this has been debated )
We saw Jon kill a White Walker with his Valerian sword then all the undead that the WW turned all dropped. There was one who hadn't been turned by him, that undead stayed active, giving them their 'prisoner'
So from this scene, back from season 4
The NK creates the White Walkers himself.
The CofF created the Night King, so he's the original one.
The NK creates the White Walkers himself . . . so then would killing the NK just make the whole WW horde and all the undead just all die and end it in one swoop???

If it works like vampire lore, then a vampire can create other vampires, and those vampires can create more vampires. some vampires can make half assed vampires which are used as slaves to work for the master vampire.
i assume the White Walkers (those greybeard ice zombies) are making the undead army and those "generals" are what the NK creates personally. in Hardhome, when NK casted AE Undead res. those zombies are linked to him personally, but are probably just slave zombies. so lets guess that the zombies that insta-died from the death of the WW were all his creations and the lone straggler was one of those zombies from Hardhome.

I might have been thinking along the lines of, remove their general and they'll be easy to defeat.
And now I picture it as, NK being killed and a wave of light flashes out and all the frozen horde drop to the ground. War ended.
I'm gonna blame my misunderstanding on . . . the show's lazy writing.
