He won't. They've failed to include almost anything from the books that makes him interesting and they failed to cast Mads.So people get real mad when you tell them that the show has turned into spectacle and that the writing is halfassed at best since season 6. Still need King Euron to redeem this shit.
The most surprising thing I learned from this last episode is Brando is not retarded all of the time.
she isnt a Rey marysue, Arya actually had years of training from different mentors. Rey had no training and first time clowns the top apprentice of Luke Skywalker. huge difference there. that being said, i think people are just pissed Jon didnt get any kind of fight scene with NK and there was a huge buildup ever since Hardholme, ditto with Bran just jacking it to porn while the world falls apart around him. special mention to fatass who let everyone die to save his own ass.I know this is just a shitpost, but she's very much the anti-Mary Sue given the 4 million episodes where we are treated to Arya regularly getting beaten to shit, kidnapped, blinded, brutally trained by the Faceless Men so she can be counted among the most elite association of murderers on the planet, along with many more wholesome moments. As clunky as the scene was, she deserved getting the killshot at least as much as anyone else.
Battle of the Bastards is a top 5 moment of the entire series. Change my mind.So people get real mad when you tell them that the show has turned into spectacle and that the writing is halfassed at best since season 6. Still need King Euron to redeem this shit.

Easy
1. Sand snake titties.
2. Eatin chickens
3. Tyrion bitch slapping Joffery
4. Red Wedding
5. Any scene with Stannis the Mannis.
I mean GRRM can just retool his books to whatever he wants no matter what he told them. So I guess taking forever to write these novels is a plus?Have Weiss or Benioff ever confirmed what GRRM told them aside from generalities?
azor ahai was changed a few seasons ago when a Red Priestess said Dany was the prince who was promised. if she can be azor, then anyone could be.Apologies if it's already been mentioned since I'm not going to check up on the whole thread, but what about the whole Azor Ahai prophecy? Weren't they foreshadowing that all along (in the books at least)? Jon takes up Lightbringer, the Red Sword of Heroes reforged and defeats the Great Other and Long Night, the end. Something that would have led to that situation would have been better than Arya out of nowhere at the last minute IMO. Maybe that doesn't 'subvert the genre' enough or whatever these hacks think is good these days? Feh
Other than that, I don't see how the battle against the creeping undead doesn't take precedence over political maneuvering. The medieval crusaders discontinued warring amongst themselves to take on the outside threat of muslim invaders. Wouldn't it make sense for Dany and Jon to consolidate their power by wrecking Cersei and confirm they have an army coming with them before focusing on the final threat of the NK? Ah fuck it I guess. It would be nice if this wasn't just another 'turn your brain off and enjoy it' series/movie -like this one used to be- but I guess that's just all we can expect these days.
