Kind of sick of the Jon Snow love arc because its the same shit every episode. She mocks him, he mocks her, they fuck. New information is rarely, if ever, revealed.

Kind of sick of the Theon Greyjoy arc because its the same shit every episode. He gets tortured, then gets some ray of hope, then keeps getting tortured. New information is never revealed.

Kind of sick of the Bran story arc because its the same shit every episode. Osha bitches about something nobody cares about because she isn't even remotely an interesting character (compared to the rest of the cast). New information is rarely, if ever, revealed.

For the first time since I this show started airing I've felt like some of the content is just filler content. I would care for these stories a lot more if they weren't stagnated and taking away screentime from the character plots that are actually moving forward. You can't even argue that there is character development for the Theon and Bran arcs (outside of Osha who, again, nobody cares about). Jon Snow at least gets some development but its the same damn thing every time.

Seriously. A week ago my fucking moron friend was telling me how he was mad because one of his friends spoiled to him that someone dies. So the dipshit spoils it to me to explain how mad he was mad someone spoiled to him. I couldn't believe how much of an idiot he is.
Your friend really is an idiot. That sucks man

There is definitely development in the Theon arc. When he "escaped" we saw him humble for the first time really, we saw him admit his failures and his weakness. Now we're learning about whoever has him captured. Not just what a sadistic fucker he is, but where he comes from. Bran we just learned his goal, where he needs to go. That is pretty significant. Neither of these things are as interesting as Tywin displaying his alpha status over Joffrey, or dragons or whatever, but the development is there.

Not so much filler but I agree not enough happened in the last two episodes. There are too many different threads right now.

We now have a seperate thread for:
-Tywin/Cersei/Tyrion/Shae
-Littlefinger/Varys
-Sansa/Joffrey/Marjory
-Bran
-Arya
-Catelyn/Robb
-Dany
-Sam
-Jon Snow
-Jamie/Brienne
-Theon
-Gendry/Melisandre/Stannis

That's twelve I can think of right now. The King's Landing stuff is sort of intermixed so let's call it ten different threads. It's hard to keep them all moving forward at good pace when you have to fit all of that into 45 minutes of actual content per week. Wonder if they should have split it up in to more episodes and just focus on five threads or so per season. Haven't read the books past the first one so I don't know what the source material is like for this season.

My post is edited because the mouth breathing retards in this thread didn't watch season 2. Do I come off as someone who reads dragon books in my spare time. If you can't watch a tv show and draw conclusions from character dialouges why the fuck are you watching tv?

Sir Bolton- Ill send my bastard to Winterfell Robb.
Robb - Ok

I've got another fucking spoiler for you mouth breathing dragon fags. That horn the torturer blew is probably the same horn Theon was bitching about when Winterfell was sacked

Heh, HBO released a close up of Talisa's letter from ep7. Can people translate it from the scant valyrian we have heard so far this season?

one of the things i find disappointing with this kind of show, where they try to cram all sorts of stuff, is the internet factor. some shows now expect viewers to draw traffic toward sites to read up on this character or that little detail you missed. i remember doing the same thing in the early 2000s when star wars came out, trying to keep up with dooku this kamino that, so on. nowadays that kind of thing is much more common.

if you have to seek out extra info, if it don't fit in the show itself, you're doing it wrong.

all the arcs are fine, it's all well written, well shot, etc. but imagine if season one was 10 episodes, alright fine? perfect. season two was let's say 14 episodes and this season something like 18 episodes. each season according to plot material. that shit would be less compressed and so much better.
