Briennes arc is half of feast, I think your going to be seeing a lot of her in the coming seasons.

I'm guessing they will also cast Hyle. However, there is plenty fo ways to spice up the search. All they need to do is add a few more confrontation/fight scenes with various Lannisters/Freys etc.

So are the White Walkers undead Worgs? They seem to be able to control crows and I guess the return of magic allows them to control corpses.

And speaking of Charles Dance, there have been several scenes where he says "GO! Leave!" or "Now GO!"... The way he says 'go', it's just awesome.

More of Brianne is always good. She can get all of Jon Snow and Dany's screen time, I hope! *duck*

Only way the next two seasons of Brienne are worth the screen time is if Podrick nails Brienne in one of the episodes.
No.

Fuck you.

Go away.

Yep. Brienne and Dinklage both belong to the same species. Wrap your head around that one.

That's a good dress on her. TBH she'd look a lot more attractive with longer hair. She's already 7 feet tall, why does she need a butch-doo?

I'd be cool with some sexytime brienne scenes.

The finale just further highlighted how little I care about Daenerys' storyline. I was absolutely glued to the screen just watching the Lannisters have a conversation over a table, but her big moment at the end, with chanting and being carried off, all I could think was "wow I hope it doesn't end after this scene". Are people more engaged in her than I am, or are they just misreading the appeal of her and her story to continue to carry on the same sort of plotline for 2 seasons now.

Daenarys story is wildly divergent from the rest of the characters in many ways including progression, locale and storytelling style. Many people say that while most of GoT turns traditional storytelling on its head the Daenarys storyline is very typical of a fantasy.

Personally I haven't cared about her scenes since Drogo died. Once she emerged with her dragons her progression has been predictable and unbelievable at the same time.

She cut it specifically to play Brianne. She said she was rather upset about it, as she cut her hair and also when and did a lot of weight lifting for the part to "butch up" more. Which she says she hates, but shows how serious she is about her role.

I don't mind them, especially when they actually lay the smack down on someone (her sacking astapor with the newly acquired unsullied or Darrio/Jorah/Greyworm pulling a '300' with 3 people, for example).

Plus, it's nice to see someone with good intentions not get dragged through a river of shit every once in awhile. A refreshing change of pace that keeps the rest of it in perspective. If ONLY bad things happen to good people, then that becomes just as predictable as normal fantasy.

Gwendoline Christie is almost too beautiful or handsome to play Brienne. Same with Peter Dinklage

I agree. I don't dislike the Dany story at all. I dislike the way the season ended with her story though.

I just hate how fuckingeasyshe's had it. Shit isliterallyjust falling into her lap. Even the Lannisters are having to "struggle" a bit. Ever since Drogo, Dany has had event after event go "right" for her, without any effort at all. That's what I hate about it.

I didn't like how they ended Stannis and Davos off, they should have waited for all three leeches to die before Stannis goes full hog for R'hllor and Davos ships off Gendry I thought.

As for the Valyrian steel, I thought that there was literally 1 guy in all of Westeros, who lived in King's Landing would knew the secret to working Valyrian Steel or some such and even then he still couldn't make it. Or some such.

I am having a hard time understanding how the scene with Varys and Shae is not going to make Shae's betrayal make less sense rather than more, personally. But guess we'll wait and see.
One guy (Gendgry's boss, I think?) can reforge Valyrian Steel and have it be "ok" but never as pure as the original. No one knows how to create new things.
