To hell with just an HBO sub, I would fund a fucking Kickstarter project for such a thing.A single episode on the Tower of Joy conflict would make me subscribe to HBO.
If GRRM wrote/directed it and it was true to the books I'd pledge. To hell with just an HBO sub, I would fund a fucking Kickstarter project for such a thing.
I didn't realize Moriarity had a brother with Down Syndrome.i know these rustle jimmies, but i dont care.
Honestly, I think as a fan a person should feel pretty good about exactly that outcome. 2 things. First, he'll probably never finish the series. Honestly, he won't. It is fairly obvious that he did not expect to get the Wheel of Time fanbase that he managed to snag and he's just running out of steam. Second, hasn't he made his entire career out of being a television writer? This show really is his medium more than the books.Yeah, I'm not sure how I feel about plots on the show going beyond the books, even with Martin involved.
I hope he finishes it but every single one of you dies first.
Yeah, I just don't think he will finish the series either. Right now it looks like 3 years or so till another book, then another 5 years to the last book. Which btw, we can't really be sure it will be the last book. It was going to be 3, then 4, then 5, then 6 and finally 7.First, he'll probably never finish the series. Honestly, he won't.
Yeah, keep telling yourself that. He's just having a good time with whatever years he has left. If you think he's spending any significant time writing, well, go ahead and think that.Pretty easy to tell who has never written anything large before. Motivation plays a large part, but writing stuff can be hard if you're feeling drained. That's to say nothing of self-critique...it's possible he may have to restart multiple times because what he wrote "didn't work".
