Revenge within Westeros is pretty acceptable. The fact that Varys tracked down the guy that cut his dick off doesn't make him an unstable person. Almost every single character in the story has a revenge element.

has kevan been introduced in this show yet? when jaime was arguing with tywin about who will take over CR when he is dead, he mentioned Lancel but not Kevan.

He's been in it quite a bit actually. Way more than the Mountain anyway. Just not this season. The bad guy from Torchwood: Children of Earth. Good actor.
