As much as I like the show, I gotta say those scenes with Daenerys in her main audience chamber are getting really tiresome.

We've seen them a dozen times now and the routine of it is always the same. She stands and does the bulk of talking, while the rest of her entourage stand in their positions doing little more than an occasional 'facial expression change'

And it's her talking with some local with an issue, which has caused her to hit yet another point of moral conflict. How can she be the great one who freed all the slaves and defeated the oppressors . . . and yet now has to be a tough leader to maintain order in a city / empire full of a bunch of low-lifes.

Yeah we get it, there's no need to keep running over it again and again.

Yes but THIS time she listened to barrison...to then led her to NOT apply the wisdom she just heeded and rock throwing. Tyrion needs to get there sooner... oh and her red dragon came back.

Frankly if I was a midget I'd want to ride a pig. How fucking cool would that be. Pigs are pretty smart. You throw a native patterned saddleblanket on the thing and sing low rider.

10years ago in VA i'm pretty sure i was at a county fair and saw cats riding pigs in a race.

Right. Barriston was right in the sense that the Mad King was a dick and his bad actions caused his downfall. However, his bad actions were in the context of that civilization and not Mereen's. While his reasoning was sound, the execution had to be tailored for the people she is lording over. She tried to apply an apple situation to an orange situation and fucked the whole thing up.

They've been doing the monkeys riding dogs thing for years at rodeos. I'm guessing it was more of a training issue than an animal rights issue. Movie animals need to be *really* well trained and there probably aren't any pigs that are trained much at all and certainly not to be ridden so they probably just decided that it wasn't worth the effort just for that gag. I think we all get that Tyrion is totally humiliated without seeing him on the back of a pig. That said, I am mildly disappointed as well.

Pigs are pretty trainable. About as trainable as mid-tier intelligence dog. I'd imagine they could get some trained ones. They still have the opportunity to do it. Doesn't he meet up with the female dwarf again later in this season and she's all salt that her brother got killed because of Cersei's great dwarf hunt? She was all about putting on pig shows.

Probably isn't happening since they've shown Tyrion sitting next to Hizdar or whatever his name is with Danaerys. No female dwarf in sight.

No Bran is fine...you can tell anything from him is going to be close to "end game" stuff- anything THAT magic based in this world all seems to be part of the full culmination of everything.

Is it me or they shying away from main actors strutting their stuff now... mostly after S2 the "Come and see our splendiferous and large amounts of nudity and violence!" has turned to "standard" issue "random extra boobs every now and then, because cable"

Pigs are as smart as a 7 year old. Also, my point was that PETA etc. Complain about EVERY movie/show with horses. Why would that stop them from using pigs? It just wasn't necessary to the story.

If it's not obvious yet, the producers' biggest lesson from the early seasons' feedback was "TOO MANY CHARACTERS".... They've spent the last few seasons merging book characters and roles into existing in the same storylines.

So penny, Illyria, griff is merged onto varys. Lsh, manderley are all merged into darth Sansa etc.

Yes, you are correct. GoT's doesn't need boobs to be good and porn still exists. So, meh, who cares.

Boobs are a cheap way to get attention for your show when nobody knows you exist. GoT's is now a cultural phenomenon. Most of the actors and actresses are thinking about their careers down the line and don't want to give up the goods anymore.

Yeah, it was still obnoxious for Dany to have her sheets coyly covering the good stuff after a romp with what's his name. Come on man, I've put up were your obnoxious "mother of slaves" plot line these past 2 seasons, at least reward me with something!?!
