Maybe whore plants.

I very much get the vibe that LF wants Sansa for his queen. But to be King, he has to win the game. He really is interested in making her the woman that her mother never was.

Maybe I'm wrong, and maybe he is truly chaotic evil. I think in this one matter he has a neutral tendency.

Edit: Of course if anyone were to ever figure that out, they'd use Sansa against him. Which means he has to make sure they don't figure it out.
LF also loved sansa's mother in as much as he can love anybody so his goal I think is to advance himself but if he can do that while sticking knives into various orrifices of the people who murdered cat then he will do so.

For sansa I think this story line may actually work better than the book simply because I see her going into one more horribly abusive situation and snapping and finally fully growing a spine and becoming a true player and not a meek little mouse just scurrying around trying not to get stepped on.

It seems wrong that the first time they unleash "resurrection" on the audience is when Melisandre rezz's Jon Snow(if this happens in the books). It seems like that is what they are working towards by ditching LSH.

yeah so to recap tv version:

Thoros accidently resses Beric.
Thoros realizes he can res him at will.
Melisandre shows up and learns exactly how to do it.
Melisandre is now at the Wall and trying to fuck Jon Snow.

It's actually a bit more logical that she be able to res Jon, assuming that's what happens in the books and thus what the TV show ends up doing.

Ignoring Beric being combat rezzed why do you think Jon Snow first instead of Cat?

Because we're already past when Uncat was supposed to show up? Or maybe because of all the trolling the cast did last season only to have it not happen and then have the show runners tell us they had to skip it?

We haven't really seen what Gendry is up to with his merry band. It would make sense they'd introduced zombie Cat when they explore what they're doing.

Do we even know if Gendry is alive? Was he in any episode after The Onion Knight sprung him from Dragonstone?

I'm kind of surprised that everybody here seems to support the changes from the book although I agree. Seems like Dave and Dave are giving GRRM the editing he should have had when writing the books.

It's less about supporting them and more about what choice do you have? I couldn't really give a fuck about the books at the pace they come out. I'll read them if they ever come out, but the show is clearly now the front-runner in telling the story.

They're tasked with trying to condense 1000+ page books into 15 hours or so of film. I think they're doing a great job shortening story lines and combing characters where it makes logical sense without completely losing the essence of the source.

Plus they're at the point where the source material turns completely boring. I've been generally entertained with the first three episodes even if they were kind of slow. That's more than I can say for all but just a few chapters of book 4 and 5 (this is probably a bit of an exaggeration).
