Theon rapes Ramsey's bride in the books, then Ramsey's dogs get a turn.

Sansa got gently caressed in comparison.

Did it go down. That hard in the books? Also for some reason I was expecting a bloodbath at the wedding. Can't lie tho makeing theon watch was next level mind fuck.
Yeah, like khorum said Sansa was 'lucky'. Readers breathed a sigh of relief when the credits rolled while watchers were mortified.

To the guy who negged me for not thinking that consumation of the marriage that Sansa Stark went to Winterfell to partake in was rape, you can't rape the willing:

And then there is the scene described in the production breakdown as "romance dies." Sansa's wedding night in episode 6.
When I read that scene, I kinda loved it. I love the way Ramsay had Theon watching. It was all so messed up. It's also so daunting for me to do it. I've been making [producer Bryan Cogman] feel so bad for writing that scene: "I can't believe you're doing this to me!" But I secretly loved it.

Hopefully it picks up some because its becoming fairly boring to be honest.

Yep, the whole song of ice and fire is basically a 30-year revenge epic strung together by a 15-year-old Petyr Baelish while he was recovering from his duel with Brandon Stark.

Remember he paid the assassin to kill bran with the knife he "gave" to Joffrey. Then it turned out he had arranged for Lysa to kill Jon Arryn (the first big death that started the war of the 5 kings) in the first place.
Did they change this in the series? I thought it was Joffrey who tries to have Bran killed, at least in the book.

It's definitely rape, but I don't agree with people who think that the depiction of sexual violence is the same thing as promoting rape. It's fiction. With that said, what is there to love about that scene? What a weird fucking thing to say.

Scumbagging 101: If you are a scumbag, you throw your woman into the arms of a bigger scumbag than you are and then you rescue her while claiming to be ignorant of just how scumbaggy the other guy was.

You reap the rewards without having to do the work and turn her against you. You just have the other guy break her and then bind her TO you.

Absolutely nothing about the LF/Sansa/Ramsay triangle is weird. It's only depraved.

Also I'd like to point out that zero people here predicted LF would tell Cersei about Sansa in an effort to get the title of Warden of the North, despite it being a generally brilliant idea.

I find it hot as hell that she said that.

I thought the water garden scene was really hokey and dumb.
Ehh it was the only fight scene where I noticed a few sword swings that looked less than enthusiastic- ya know like the dude in the background of braveheart LARPing away... I don't know if it was because of how it was filmed- as we had a decent wide shot of a confined space with 5 combatants and we could actually SEE what they where doing... not so good female stunt actors? or what- I don't know.

Reading the rest of the article I think Sophie is pissed that people don't like her character and she thinks that her character getting a good raping will make people like her more. What she doesn't realize is that people want to see her bake some pies and every episode she doesn't step up we get let down.

It was pretty much the only thing the small council agreed on (RIP Jon & Ned). All of them fear Stannis because he'd either remove them from power at best or remove their heads at worst. I'm not sure when characters outright state it on the show (Renly spells it out to Ned iirc) but it was probably a season 1 thing.

I think the short version of it was once Jon Arryn & Stannis started poking around with the whole incest thing LF & Renly conspired to strike first because opportunity + NOPE to Stannis.

I completely did not expect his Northern Power Play. But I think (hope) that LF and the Boltons underestimate "The North Remembers" and all of the Stark supporters.

I'm pretty sure the show never bothered to spell out that Joffrey was the one who sent the assassin after Bran.

There was just the really subtle "no stranger to valyrian steel" line.

I don't think many of the power brokers from Robert's rule wanted Stannis and his unyielding sensibilities in charge. Even fewer should want it now that he has Mel in tow burning unbelievers.

Sansa was never a strong female character. Anyone who thinks she was is just fooling themselves. She's a lamb living in a world of wolves.

Thing is... the stuff that Ramsay's plaything told her where all true.. I think Sansa knows that and she has to play along a bit... would it be redundant to have the "im on top now" sex-transformation thing happen for Sansa like Dany?... we need another handmaiden! speaking of...where did she go? or did she get offed in that rich people city in s3 or 2 or whatever WHERE ARE MY DRAGONS sessions it was.
She was locked inside Ducksauce's vault with him.
