They also could have just been talking out of their asses with that 'gonna set the show on a certain path' bit.

Like, either exaggerating how much of an effect whatever happens will have, or just plain lying about something big happening.
Who said this? One of the actresses who plays a sand snake?

I disagree with that.

I think once Cersei does the walk of shame they'll need something to fill the KL plot. Killing Tommen in the start/middle of the season then having a power struggle that somehow resolves with Myrcella on the throne (with or without a dead Margery/Trystane) puts things exactly where they need to be in an entertaining way.
If they're going to kill Tommen, I'd think they'll kill him in the finale, not next season. They added the flashback this season, and they've (terribly) introduced the sand snakes to dosomething. Just ending with one of them staring at Tommen all sinister-like with the sound of a hiss or rattlesnake in the score would be gay as fuck.

Invalidating entire arcs is a key feature of GoT though. Tuco's theory isn't crazytown. That very well could go that way. King Bashir is sort of a pussy, if not. And I don't expect that King Bashir is actually a pussy.

A Lannister comes in, punches the fuck out of his son, and tries to abscond with the pledged bride? And all he has to say about it is, "Well. Shit does happen! Long live the King!" +gutpunch bronn.

He's up to -something-.
Show Doran is similar to Book Doran, but Show Doran is showing a bit more resolve and decisiveness - likely due to the condensed timelines and merging/changing of the various Dorne subplots.

Book Doran, I got the sense that he comes across as a great schemer and plotter, but that he sucked terribly at it, culminating in his idea to marry off Quentyn to Daenerys based on an old marraige pact. He vastly overestimated his son's competence and vastly misread Daenerys; it is like he knew nothing about her at all, other than that she existed, and why, after being so careful for so long, would you gamble on something like that? Arianne screws him over totally with the Myrcella business, forcing him to jump through his ass to prevent war; even though he knew what was going on, he let it play out a bit and got burned. This is coming after 15 years of supposed plotting against the Lannisters, 15 years which saw them rise to be the wealthiest and most prominent family in the realm. Only at the end of all this do we start to see him making a real power play and showing some spine - and I think this is the Doran we are seeing in the show.

The thing about Prince Doran was that he was TOO patient - Waited too long to commit Dornishmen to House Targaryen and essentially kept his main strength out of the fight, resulting in the success of Robert's Rebellion. Waited too long to do anything about the marriage pact, resulting in his son doing something extremely idiotic. Waited too long to thwart Arianne, resulting in Myrcella getting her face half cut off. Only when Balon Swann shows up looking for Myrcella do we really see some good moves out of him, tying up Swann with a search for Darkstar and buying himself more time.

Show Doran is skipping all the bullshit and getting right to the serious stuff, coming across as far more competent and decisive than he does for most of the books.

Interesting nugget I found about the R + L = J theory.

Rhaegar was deep into prophecy, and Dany has this flashback in the House of the Dead;
The fifth room, finally, shows a man very much alike her brother Viserys, except that he is taller and has eyes of dark indigo rather than lilac. He is speaking to a woman who is nursing a newborn babe, telling her that the child's name should be Aegon and saying that "What better name for a king?". The woman asks him if he will make a song for the child, and he replies that he has a song and that "He is the prince that was promised, and his is the song of ice and fire.". He appears to look at Dany then, as if seeing her, and then he adds that "There must be one more," and "The dragon has three heads.".

The problem is that Elia almost died in childbirth twice, so she couldnt have more kids. But Rhaegar knew winter was coming. He was working with Azor Ahai prophecy and trying to find that person. So.. Jon was always meant to be the third head of the Dragon... but you know, Gregor gotta Gregor. So I guess Bran is the third head because even though he doesn't have the blood, he can hackzor the Dragons brain and Warg it.

just found it interesting..

Wonder if Tyrion is gonna be like lol theres two more dragons and dany rode off on the third.

Theres so much shit for them to wrap up in one episode a lot of people arr gonna be disappointed when the certain plotline you were hoping to see resolved gets pushed to next season.

For starters, why did you spoil something in the spoiler thread?

Second, that is one of the main arguments supporting the theory about why Rhaegar went after Lyanna, because of the whole dragon has three heads thing and because he only had two kids with Elia. This isn't new information.

What does Gregor killing Elia have to do with whether or not Jon is a Targaryen?
Gregor killed Rhaegar's first two children, which means the other two heads of the dragon will not be his progeny. He was the one chasing the prophecy.

This maybe considered pussy shit so I will spoiler it. Mods feel free to delete is deemed pussy'ish

Lyanna Stark was never really fond of Robert Baratheon (at least in the books). She knew he was a druken whoremonger. Ned even thinks to himself that Robert has romanticized not only his own feelings toward Lyanna but her feelings back towards him. So I highly doubt she would let Robert tap that ass before marriage. So I am doubtful that Jon Snow is the bastard of Robert and Lyanna.

Dude are you retarded? If it's from the books and not the shows, it doesn't belong here. If you even have to ask it doesn't belong here.

I'm only hoping they wrap up Jon, Trant and Cersei's storyline. I've lost hope for the siege of Winterfell or anything else.
