Few things to think on
- Where is littlefinger? wasnt he going to "clean up the mess" after boltons and stannis battled with his knights of the vale? maybe thats the burning of the banners.
- Stannis owes the Iron bank guite a bit I guess... What did Margeary Tyrells father really do at the Iron bank, did he secure funding to add to the Bolton army?
- Maybe killing a white walker give you a free resurrect? Maybe John becomes a white walker? Somehow think hes meant to live due to his stare off with the white walker leader.
- Who will Marry danny now?
- What happens with Jorah Mormont and his Greyscale?
Littlefinger is the big question mark right now though
My guesses:
LF could go either way. He was hoping to take advantage of whomever won winterfell and assumed that it'd be a real war that would deplete the winner and he could swoop in and scoop the North. However the Boltons lost very few men or resources in their 'fight' with Stannis, so they'll be stronger than ever. I don't think it's feasible or reasonable to expect that LF will go to war with Winterfell.
First he has to marshall his bannermen who don't really recognize or respect him. Then he has to march them out the bloody gate and march them up the kingsroad through Moat Cailin (which strategically is extremely difficult)
then march them up to Winterfell. All during the onset of Winter. I don't think he'll use his military force in this way. I think whatever grant he got from Cersei on Tommen's behalf will be used in another way.
Stannis/Mace/Iron Bank: I think the Iron Bank will just eat the loan they gave to Stannis. I don't think Mace being up there had much to do with Stannis at all. The Tyrells, the Lannisters and the 'Crown' owe the Iron Bank a ton of money. I don't know if Mace had a purpose up there besides getting Meryn Trant up to Bravos for Arya.
Jon: We'll see. There's a lot of possible ways this could go, including him being permanently dead.
Daenarys: I have no idea what will happen to her. Her story really started when her dragons hatched and there's no way anyone would've predicted it'd be three seasons of her mucking about in Slaver's Bay.
Jorah: I'm still hoping he dies a heroes death and the grayscale isn't a real issue. It'd be annoying if he starts infecting people and is put down because of it.
