With Edmure Tully back as well, seems like the siege of Riverrun is definitely on... though one has to wonder what relevance it plays in the overall storyline except getting Jaime out of the capital. Maybe the Frey slaying will commence. Would supprt earlier rumors about the possibility of Lady Stoneheart showing up.

Wouldn't be surprised at all if they leave brienne/jamie at the same place in the last book with LSH at the end of this season, which is kind of sad as LSH is probably the silliest thing in the books.

When your that big its hard to maneuver and sustain any kind of attack against someone so fleet footed. You can tell the big guy was getting frustrated, perhaps it would have been different if it was an all out fight with no limitations but he could very well be bested by McGregor.

Seemed like he was trying to avoid just taking him down. Big guy got hands on him a couple of times why not take him down? It'd be game over with someone weighing 2-2.5x as much as you on the ground.

There was clearly no effort to do much of anything there. McGregor is a beast, but lets be real, if Mountain gets his hands on him like he did there a few times, he's really capable of inflicting massive damage. That said, McGregor also could have completely destroyed the Mountain's legs from distance if he were so inclined. This was clearly just "horsing around".
