There were pre-loads for it a while ago wasn't there? There was like, a big deal over people opening up the pre-loaded game files on it I thought and leaking stuff. Did they take it down because of that?

I think this is a unique case.

With the release of Grand Theft Auto V tomorrow, many YouTubers have asked Rockstar what its policy is on sharing footage. In a statement posted on the company's website, the publisher has made its wishes known.

There are three rules you must follow if you are planning on sharing captured footage. You may not publish material prior to release of a game (or show an early unboxing video). Rockstar will have content that includes spoilers removed. Finally, the in-game entertainment (television shows, movies, radio stations, comedy performances, etc.) can not be displayed by themselves.

Furthermore, use of footage extends to "non-commercial" purposes. Provided you aren't selling memberships to access the content or promoting your own merchandise, you should be in the clear.

It's important to note that these policies can be changed at any time. For those planning on showing non-spoiler gameplay or making machinima from the footage, you're in the clear.

This is exactly how the pirates got it. They cracked the preload. Starting to be the norm for all games now.

The game is already out there for pirates though, why punish legit customers? Heh, next time Ill just download the cracked copy.

Ha, agreed. Maybe they had it up before - but you can't preload it now. I wish I could get refund from the PS store.... would just go hit up gamestop at midnight.

That Sessler review was pretty exciting. He's one of the few reviewers I actually take seriously so it's good to hear his opinion on it, especially since the only bad things he could find to say about the game was wanting more heist missions.

Guess I'll update my PS3 tonight. Should be here by morning tomorrow I'm exciteeeeeed. I don't see a PC version coming out anytime soon unfortunately :/ but depending on how it goes I'll definitely get it for PC as soon as it releases (if it does)

Watching my GTA 5 quickly crawling its way from the North East to my home.

Trying to figure out why Amazon is sending my GTA 5 all the way from somewhere in Pennsylvania when I live literally 5 minutes from the one of the largest Amazon hubs in the region.

Its in Indiana now though so its all good.

Reviews are all good. The complaints about "you play an evil guy" or "you don't have any respect for anything other than money" are fucking laughable from a game that you kill, murder or cripple hundreds every play through. Shit the first thing I do is go out and get 5 stars to steal the better police vehicles.

As an example, bitching about stomping some dudes face while you fuck his wife is pretty retarded in a game where the body count will be in the thousands for most players.

The pre-load leak came from the EU which has been doing pre-loads for a while. As far as i know the US has never done pre-loads before.

Also played it last night after lauch for about 4 hours go up to the Hummer part and wasn't that thrown by how many times it was used between Franklin and Lamar tbh...it wasn't any more excessive than a typical gangster rap album or "urban" film and if we want to contend that at times games can be art then we can't hold them to a higher standard then we do with books, movies, or music imo

In regards to the game, even from what little I have played in the overall scheme of things it's looking to be one of the best games of the year. All the non-mission activities will be what gives life to it for me along with just the amount of sandbox space we've got access to. Hopefully the online features hold up (not really talking the mp here though) as I can see spending a lot of time just hangin gout with friends and playing golf and shit.
