God bless you good sir.Settings>Reticle>Switch to "complex" (retarded name for x-hairs lol). Unrustle jimmies? No more white dot.
Yes.So is this game worth the 60? I remember caving to the console version of GTA4 and was thoroughly disappointed.
Oh god I need to try this tonight. Thanks!Settings>Reticle>Switch to "complex" (retarded name for x-hairs lol). Unrustle jimmies? No more white dot.
Pretty much every test except shotguns: Maxing multiplier is the most important part. Get it to 3x ASAP, even if you have to take off-center shots at the first couple of targets. After that, don't lose multiplier. Take your time to aim in the center and memorize how many bullets you need to burst before the target disappears. Also, memorize target locations and manually reload when no targets are up.I haven't played a console game in 3 years and I caved for this game. I cannot for the life of me figure out how people aim with these fucking controllers with any degree of precision. The shooting range stuff is ridiculous. I could gold all this shit with a mouse and keyboard without even trying, and I can barely bronze some of them with a controller. I've tried messing with the sensitivity and can't find anything that feels right. Oh well.
Nevermind, still fuckin did it last night. I'm just going to blame my shitty Seiki TV. Though I can't bitch too much, I got it on black Friday for $150.Got to play for about 3 hours last night, hit up all the gold challenges at AmmuNation.
Anyone else on PS3 seem to have an issue with the screen "popping" at various times? When I was installing it did it a few times and then a few more times while I was playing...really weird.
EDIT: Upon further searching it might be a problem with my retarded ass TV not knowing what to do with the extra sound channels.
I knew I should have hung my 50" plasma instead of the 32" LCD in my office.
Wtf is with the first heist? I chose the stealth approach and the game advises me to choose a crew that is the exact opposite of what is actually the best for the mission.
You're told you should get the expensive driver and hacker, neither of which have any real effect on the outcome at all, and the cheap gunman, who drops a whole bunch of jewelry in the story and then dies a scripted death. You can pick up his bag of loot but you still pay the casualty fee at the end. For the best results, you actually want to choose the cheap driver and hacker and the expensive gunman.
Doing it the way the game implies you should results in 300k for Michael and 60k for Franklin. Doing it the right way gets Michael about 1M and Franklin about 300k. I'm sure cash doesn't matter that much in the long run, but it's still pretty retarded that they mislead you intentionally like that on the very first heist.
