Dropped a bunch of money on a car, go to park it in garage and the fucking yoga mission kicks me out of it soon as i get in the drive way, and then of course the car fucking poofs.

I remember back in the day working real hard to get the invincible Cheetah, parking it in the garage and then proceeding to never be able to use it for fear of losing it.

Graphics quality question:
I notice on some of these videos i see on youtube, the game looks visually unbelievable, but when i seem to play at home (yes, my TV is a nice flat screen with full HD) my game does not really look like what i see in these videos. The game looks good and all, but no where near as crisp and sharp as i see in some of these videos online. I am just curious if anyone else is seeing this or are they doing something to the videos to make them that crisp?

Game is absolutely unbelievable. Best GTA of all time for me, fuck - best game of this console generation. This, Skyrim, Dark Souls.... tough call - but this is fresh in my mind so it gets the nod. Pretty great seeing a dev spend that kind of money - but never once while playing have I gone "where did they spend all their fucking money". The level of detail in everything you do is mind-blowing. Sort of wish they had waited for the next gen consoles though graphically. So SO much better than IV that it isn't even worth comparing really. Also, I find it hilarious/ironic that Trevor for me has maybe 4x as much cash as Michael/Franklin combined.

Oh, and as for the music - I disagree. Listening to Whiskey River, while driving a truck in the mountains hunting backpackers is one of the singularly awesome video game experiences I've ever had.

Is there a trick to LMG Challenge 2 gold? Even with ~95% accuracy and a ton of hits in the yellow I still can't even break 35k let alone the 40k needed for gold. Got gold on every other challenge easily too, it's just this one fucking with me.

The only thing that helped me with any of the moving target challenges was to strafe with the targets and not aim at them. Aiming at them forget it. I couldn't hit any of the god damn moving targets. Serious nerd rage at not being able to use a mouse.

This was a static one, and I actually figured it out almost immediately after posting that question. (Just memorize the pattern and use bursts of 5-6 shots, if anyone else is stuck.)

It's the subtle touches that make this game great.

I pulled in front of a tractor trailer on a busy street, blocking his path. I watched as the driver physically honked his horn, then started freaking out in the cab, throwing his hands up and gesturing wildly. I jumped out of my car, and as I was making my way to his door, he flipped me off. When he realized that I was coming for him, he launched himself out the passenger side door and took off running. Brilliant.

The first time I started a street rampage, I sucker punched an old woman in the back of the head. A young guy witnessed the crime and started sprinting away. I ran after him, and as I gained ground, he took out his phone, and (while running) yelled "Hello? Police? Yes! I just saw a woman get attacked..." and just as he was about to finish his sentence, I stabbed him.

I love the police AI too. They're damn smart and almost seem to anticipate your next move.

Everything about this game is stunning. The uncanny valley is very near. If this is what current-gen consoles are capable of, what lies ahead for PS4 and XBone?

I haven't played a console game in 3 years and I caved for this game. I cannot for the life of me figure out how people aim with these fucking controllers with any degree of precision. The shooting range stuff is ridiculous. I could gold all this shit with a mouse and keyboard without even trying, and I can barely bronze some of them with a controller. I've tried messing with the sensitivity and can't find anything that feels right. Oh well.

Should get an achievement and gold mission medal for shooting beverly in the back at the start of every mission.

Got to play for about 3 hours last night, hit up all the gold challenges at AmmuNation.

Anyone else on PS3 seem to have an issue with the screen "popping" at various times? When I was installing it did it a few times and then a few more times while I was playing...really weird.

EDIT: Upon further searching it might be a problem with my retarded ass TV not knowing what to do with the extra sound channels.

I knew I should have hung my 50" plasma instead of the 32" LCD in my office.
