GTA 6 Publisher Take-Two to Layoff 5% of its Workforce and Cancel Games

Take-Two Interactive has announced that it will lay off 5% of its workforce and cancel some of its games in an effort to increase profits.

Hopefully doesn't affect the Max Payne remakes and sequel planned.

But I have a feeling it will kill one or the other. Probably the remakes won't happen now.

I believe its mostly due to the Zynga (mobile games) acquisition, Take 2 bought them 2 years ago for $12.7 billion and they have been bleeding money out of the ass since then as mobile games market has become even more overcrowded than regular gaming.
