I have a wood peel I bought from a kitchen supply store for $15.

I hide it on top of the kitchen cupboards.
That's a great idea, but my kitchen cabinets go to the ceiling for more storage space...

I make the pizza on heavy duty tin foil with olive oil rubbed on it. I preheat the oven with stone in it. When ready, I drop the pizza w/ foil onto the stone and cook for like 10 minutes. Then I pulled it out and it's usually done enough to slide off the foil and directly on to the stone to finish. Comes out great.
How does the olive oil not start to smoke?

I need a good Steak recipe.

Just a good one for a stupid wife, who cannot cook, please!

(I can cook things, but not steak.)

THere isn't a whole lot on it. It just helps make taking the foil off easier. You could use a higher smoke-point oil if you're having an issue, I guess.

Ah, nice. I never knew what that was called. I was going with "giant wooden spatula thing they use at pizza joints". Peel has a much nicer ring to it.
I rather like "giant wooden spatula thing they use at pizza joints," actually. I'm pretty sure I could market that.

Also, I have about 30 tomatillos about ready to harvest. I planted the thing on a whim...what the hell am I going to do with all the tomatillos?

Do you want to grill, or use a pan?
Try this. It works well.

Stove is different, but I will try things.

(I have electric, not gas for starters.)

Different cut of meat too, I believe.

Principles must remain equal, though? Heat, grease, season, meat, turn, brown, whatevs, success?

Cooking a steak is like anything else: it takes practice to be good at it. Watch videos and do your research, but eventually just try cooking some steak. Your first few tries will sucks, you'll either overcook it or won't get a good crust.

Electric range should be fine. You normally shouldn't have to change the temperature when cooking a steak.

I feel like I've probably had a tomatillo in something before, but I've never eaten one alone or used them in any cooking. What are they comparable to in taste? Tomatoes?

Thanks, that looks good. What do I serve it with? Sorry, I'm a complete novice with tomatillos.

See above. I've had a tomatillo type chutney a few times, seemed tomato-like to me with subtle differences. Honestly, I planted it because I told my 5 year old he could pick one vegetable plant that we'd plant and it would be his special plant. He picked that. Who knew one plant is going to give me about 3 pounds of yield?

It's great on tacos, burritos, eggs, anything you would put hot sauce on. If you just pulse that same recipe with a blender so it's chunky you get Tomatillo salsa verde instead which is great with chips.
