i've actually used the boxfan/filter as a really decent airpurifier when i was in my apt, with central air and a dedicated (quality) bedroom airfilter it's kinda useless now.
as far as expensive, can't you just get super cheap filters? like these MERV2 (merv is a filtration rating, higher the better)
my previous apt w/ central air would have their guys come around every 6months to change this out. (i quickly used my own filters, since these do nothing really).

Can't use those. Fiberglass will stick to the meat. You have to use cellulose filters.

Pic dump. Made instant pot Korean pulled pork and I added in Mexican style burnt ends. Along with brother lanx and his excellent Chinese cooking advice. Crispy tofu stir fry.
If any of you haven't tried it. Simple Chinese blanched green bean or bok choy with oyster sauce is extremely delicious. Hot salads as he calls then will change your life. I'll be making some more tomorrow.

They’re amazing man. Hard boil them like normal. Toss em on a smoker at 160 for 45 minutes. Make some deviled eggs with em. People at work blow their load when I bring em in.

It just saturates the outside I guess. I make em deviled, throw them in a container together. Next day they are Smokey as hell and delicious.

Smoke some cheese broseph, I buy blocks of sharp Tillamook from Costco, smoke em and make Sourdough Grilled Cheezez with a Sriracha Catsup.

Final results are in. Spam is better smoked. Also final pics of eggs...included my yolk ingredients. Various amounts of shit, add shit til it tastes good.
