I've got a pair of cargo pants (and similar cargo shorts for the summer) that have enough room in the pockets to stuff 2 rolls of sweet tarts/sprees on each side without making any kind of bulge, so I'll usually bring 4 rolls and get 5x more sweet tarts for less money than I would if I bought a box in the theater. Fuck those prices.

I spent $4.00 the other night onliterallya handful of Hershey Kisses. I could get an entire bag of them at the grocery store for that price.

The wife and I have a routine, 2 IMAX tickets when applicable, 2 icee's and a medium popcorn and the bill is almost always $55+. Shit, 70mm IMAX tickets are $44 by themselves. But honestly, who cares unless you're seeing 100 movies a year.

I used to be anti-pirating cause "support the good movies, bro!" but what's turning me now is paying $20 for the DVD, then $25 for the Blu-Ray, $50 for the Collectors Extended Uber edition (Looking at you, LotR) then the inevitable purchase for 4k movies. The shit is just out of hand.

I'd gladly pay $50 per movie to own it and never have to worry about format changes again.

I see a movie every week. I get a drink and/or popcorn maybe 1/4 of the time. Adds up to about $60 dollars a month, but that's like buying a video game a month. And I don't drink so that's like... what? Two mild nights or one night out getting shitfaced at a bar? Yeah, it's not too bad.

Back on track: Anyone see the 'behind the scenes' thing with The Collector. They talk about the shit he has and the camera zooms in on Warlock's cocoon several times but they don't directly address what it is. Teases.

Why would anyone still be buying DVD's? Blu Ray Players are cheap as shit now.

Well, I didn't mean in like short order. For instance, LotR. I got the LotR DVDs when they came out in what, 2003 or 4? Then came the extended editions which i said fuck it and bought.Thencame the extended blu rays later on which i bought. That's a triple dip over a few years time.

Finally got around to watching this...

The movie was good but I don't understand why it received such high praise. To me, the movie didn't really have enough plot, it was almost entirely nonstop action sequences (which make it perfect for the summer blockbuster it was, I guess).
